The Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board on Monday announced its plans to invalidate a rule the Division of Workers’ Compensation adopted to resolve disputes involving the Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit, and to order the California Department of Corrections to give a retraining voucher to a former inmate who reached maximum medical improvement after he was released from custody.
