In a case that might be the first of its kind, a former cell phone programmer persuaded a Florida judge that her brain tumor was caused by radiation from mobile communications.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Sunday on the workers' compensation claim filed by
Sharesa Price, who developed an operable brain tumor in 1999. Price became convinced that exposure to radio-frequency radiation on the job was the cause of her tumor.
