The Washington Court of Appeals ruled that the statutory three-day waiting period on a worker's ability to receive temporary total disability benefits after an injury does not affect an employer's ability to claim wage subsidies from the Department of Labor and Industries for the first three days after a worker's accident, if the employer has offered the worker a light-duty assignment to avoid TTD.
