Appropriations Committee to Hear PTSD Presumption Measure

The California Assembly Appropriations Committee is scheduled to discuss the potential cost of creating a presumption that post-traumatic stress disorder is compensable for police and firefighters, during a hearing Wednesday. A sister committee in the Senate in April projected Senate Bill 542 would increase workers’ compensation premiums.
