Nevada lawmakers are sending Gov. Brian Sandoval a bill that would adopt National Association of Insurance Commissioners model legislation regarding licensing for insurance adjusters.
The Senate on Monday voted 21-0 to pass AB 12, by the Assembly Commerce and Labor Committee, which would adopt minimum education requirements recommended by NAIC and make Nevada’s licensing requirements comparable to other states using the model language.
