Almost a year after the Illinois General Assembly overrode the Republican governor's veto on Senate Bill 904, regulators proposed rules required by the law allowing physicians to sue insurers that don't pay their bills. SB 904, which doctors around the state had requested for years, requires insurers to respond to workers' compensation doctors' medical bills within 30 days.
