Board Provides Form for E-Sig on Lump Sum Settlements

The New York State Workers' Compensation Board will now allow insurance carriers, self-insurers and third-party administrators to electronically sign waiver agreements for lump-sum settlements. The board announced this week that it has developed an e-signature form for Section 32 waiver agreements, in keeping with payers' current business practices.
