Members of Oregon’s Management-Labor Advisory Committee will discuss permanent partial disability benefits and review the Workers’ Benefit Fund during a Jan. 10 meeting in Salem.
The percentage of injured workers receiving benefits for a permanent partial disability fell 22% between 2010 and 2018, according to a biennial report on PPD benefits MLAC members will discuss during the meeting. From 2000 through 2010, between 27% and 29% of resolved claims had PPD awards, according to the report. By 2018 that had fallen to 18.9%.
