Exel Inc. Faces $52,500 in OSHA Fines Related to Forklift Violations in Toledo

Exel Inc. faces proposed federal fines of $52,500 for safety violations involving forklifts at its automotive parts warehouse and distribution center in Toledo, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced. The company was cited for two serious violations for failing to remove from service a defective forklift and leaving forklifts in an unsafe condition.  OSHA said it initiated its inspection in February after receiving complaints of a forklift incident at the Toledo facility.
