The University of South Florida’s health care partnership organization, USF Health, is partnering with the Stetson College of Law to help military veterans navigate disability benefits in the Veterans Affairs system, including workers’ compensation benefits.
The partnership will allow law students to teach medical students how to navigate the available benefits, according to 83degreesmedia.com. Both USF Health and the law college will form learning teams to generate a greater understanding of both the legal and medical sides of the system.
