Chamber of Commerce Hosting Work Comp, Safety Conference Oct. 17

The Illinois Chamber of Commerce opened registration for its Workers’ Compensation and Safety conference scheduled for Oct. 17 in Lisle. The conference will feature a case law update as well as a discussion on issues and trends at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.  Workshops during the event will cover topics that include best tactics for employers to communicate with carriers to help contain claim costs, workers’ compensation fraud and how obesity is driving costs and risks.
