Wyoming employers who fall behind on workers’ compensation premiums owed to the monopolistic state fund could agree to an installment plan that would stop interest from accruing, under a bill introduced in the state House of Representatives.
House Bill 84, by Rep. Eric Barlow, R-Campbell, would reduce the interest rate the Workers’ Compensation Division of the Department of Workforce Services can charge for premiums not paid by the due date to 1% from 2%.
