The Louisiana Supreme Court last week yanked an attorney’s law license for failing to return unearned fees, abandoning clients and stealing money from another lawyer.
Christopher Lee Sices never responded to the charges filed against him by the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, so the allegations were deemed admitted.
Sices was charged with accepting payment from five clients, including one who had hired him for a workers’ compensation claim, and then failing to take any action.
