Employer Fined After Worker Falls Inside Water Tower

A worker repainting a water tower in Baraboo, Wisconsin suffered severe injuries when he fell inside the tower to a platform below, resulting in proposed fines of $178,640 against his employer. LC United Painting Co. was issued citations for 40 serious violations by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Agency on Nov. 30. The painting company is based in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
