WCAB: One Deputy Commissioner Appointed, Secretary Returns

The California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board announced Anne Schmitz returned to her secretary position and that Amber Ingels was appointed as a deputy commissioner. Schmitz, who has a degree in psychology from the University of California, Davis and earned her law degree from Pacific McGeorge School of Law, joined the WCAB as a staff attorney in 2010. She was appointed a deputy commissioner in January 2015 and served as secretary from August 2017 to August 2018.
