Pharmacy benefit managers are offering something that’s not heard every day: high praise for the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board.
The good vibrations came about after the board responded to concerns by stakeholders that a proposed drug formulary was a little too nuanced and could lead to complications. The latest version of the formulary, posted last week, makes some significant revisions, including reducing the number of phases of an injury for which certain drugs are allowed.
