The number of urine samples from U.S. workers who tested positive for drugs was 4.2% last year, with the positivity rate for prescription opioids falling compared to 2016, but the rates for marijuana and cocaine are increasing, according to a new report from Quest Diagnostics.
The positivity rate of 4.2% was the same as in 2016, the drug-testing company said, but a sharp increase from the 3.5% positivity rate seen in 2012, which was a 30-year low.
