OSHA Proposing $51,800 in Fines for Exposing Workers to Toxins

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a Janesville, Wisconsin, metal-coating plant for 14 serious safety violations following an inspection that resulted from a complaint in December 2013.Power Coatings LLC failed to protect workers from toxic substances, which can cause cancer, lung impairment and other diseases, OSHA said in a press release.
