Roofing Company Fined for Lacking Fall Protection

A roofing contractor was cited and fined $49,700 by OSHA after an agency inspector allegedly saw employees working on a roof without fall protection. K&N Contracting Inc. of Elkview was issued one willful and four serious safety citations on Sept. 21, OSHA said in a news release on Monday. The inspection took place at Elkview Baptist Church, where workers were installing new roof shingles, OSHA said.
