OSHA Fines Auto Manufacturer $218K for Repeat Amputation, Electrical Hazards

A Syracuse auto manufacturer failed to correct amputation, crushing and electrical hazards in its facility, netting it more than $218,000 in penalties on a follow-up safety inspection. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited York Metal Toll Processing Inc. on Tuesday for failing to abate fourteen previously cited violations.
