Mark Pew Joins Preferred Medical as SVP of Product Development

Mark Pew, known in the workers’ comp industry as the Rx Professor, has joined Preferred Medical as senior vice president of product development and marketing. Preferred Medical offers workers’ comp pharmacy and ancillary management, including a program specifically for chronic pain claims. The company is based in Louisville, Kentucky. Pew was senior vice president for more than 17 years at medical intervention company Prium, where he developed strategies for managing the use of prescription drugs in workers’ compensation.
