The Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission announced that it has started introducing metal detectors at its regional hearing rooms throughout the state.
The commission started using metal detectors in Beltsville on Monday. Metal detectors will go into operation in Abingdon on Sept. 5; in Frederick Sept. 11; in La Piata Sept. 25; and in Cambridge Sept. 28.
