HEMIC Creates Scholarship Program

Hawaii Employers' Mutual Insurance Co. is sponsoring a scholarship program for students pursuing a business degree through the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The Robert L. Dove Jr. Endowed Scholarship for Insurance Excellence is named after HEMIC's first chief executive officer, who retired in 2012. The program will provide four-year renewable scholarships to incoming freshmen who are graduates of a Hawaii high school.
