The U.S. District Court for Central California postponed until September the date Michael D. Drobot is scheduled to be sentenced for federal kickback and conspiracy charges.
Meanwhile, federal prosecutors are moving to place liens worth $5 million on two properties he owns in Oregon to guarantee payment of any fines the court may impose. Drobot is heading back to New York for additional meetings with his lawyers. And his son, scheduled to be sentenced for kickback and conspiracy charges in May, is off to Mexico for a family vacation.
