General Assembly Approves $81.9 Million Transfer from Comp Fund

The Pennsylvania General Assembly on Monday voted final approval to make an annual transfer from the Workmen's Compensation Administration Fund to the state Department of Labor and Industry to finance state operations under the Workers' Compensation Act and the Occupational Disease Act.Senate Bill 1478, which would take effect July 1, provides nearly $81.9 million for fiscal 2012-2013.
