QME on Probation Because of Travel Billings

The California Division of Workers' Compensation reappointed a Bay Area qualified medical evaluator, but placed him on probation because of allegations that he billed insurers for travel expenses to QME appointments.In a stipulation for settlement reached Dec. 21, the DWC reappointed chiropractor Robert Alan Dickman of Redwood City as a QME for a period from Nov. 16, 2010, through Nov. 15, 2012, according to an order by acting Administrative Director Carrie Nevans.
