The U.S. District Court for Central California in November will hold a hearing on motions expected to be filed by Michael Drobot, his son and the companies they own seeking to dismiss a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations complaint filed by the State Compensation Insurance Fund.U.S. District Judge Andrew Guilford on Thursday set the hearing on the “forthcoming motions” for Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. in the federal court in Santa Ana. Guilford’s order also gives State Fund until Oct. 21 to oppose the defendants’ motions and the defendants until Nov. 4 to file a reply....
