DWC Adopts Amendments to Medical Quality Review Panel Rules

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation adopted rules allowing longer terms of service on the Medical Quality Review Panel. The amended rules eliminate the 10-year lifetime service limit, split up into two-year terms, for membership on the Medical Quality Review Panel. The new rules will allow members to be appointed for 10-year terms and to submit a new application for membership after the term expires.
