New York state insurance brokers have thrown their support to Gov. George E. Patak's workers' compensation reform plan, which was included in the governor's budget proposal introduced last week.
The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New York and the New York Compensation Action Network both have been long supporters of Pataki's reform efforts, the groups said in a press release.
