Hawaii lawmakers appear poised to take another run at revising the process for independent medical exams with the introduction of a bill that would require that injured workers and employers agree on the provider performing the evaluation. Another workers’ compensation bill under consideration in 2023 would increase benefits paid to partially dependent parents of a deceased child. Senate Bill 919, by Sen.
