Uber Appeals Class Certification for Drivers

Transportation network company Uber Technologies Inc. is asking the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn the decision of a district court judge to certify as a class a group of drivers who allege the company misclassified them as independent contractors.
