Officers, Board Inducted at Defense Attorney Association Meeting

Officers and the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) took office last week, at the close of the association's annual meeting. The meeting was held June 14 to 17 in Hilton Head Island, S.C. During the meeting, Jonathan Berkelhammer, a partner at the Greenboro law office of Smith Moore Leatherwood, was elected president. He takes over the post from Christopher Smith, a partner with Raleigh-based law firm Smith Anderson Blount Mitchell Dorsett & Jernigan, who was the organization's 35th president.
