The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is planning a rulemaking process next year intended to give Medicare beneficiaries guidance when it comes to workers’ comp settlements.
CMS mentioned the proposed rule as part of its 2019 regulatory agenda. The notice of proposed rulemaking is slated for September, and CMS describes it as “major” and “economically significant.”
