Liberty International Underwriters, a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has added eight new excess casualty underwriters to its lineup in five locations nationwide.
While the company transferred almost all its liability for workers' compensation, asbestos and environmental lines to a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary through a reinsurance agreement in July, a company spokesperson said Liberty Mutual would continue to underwrite policies in workers' compensation.
