The Actuarial Committee for California’s Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau will meet Aug. 1 to review alternative loss projection methodologies and loss adjustment expense experience ahead of the Jan. 1, 2020, rate filing.
Committee members will also review insurer experience through March 31 and the latest data on the effects of legislation including the SB 863 reforms, the AB 1124 formulary and the provision in SB 1160 exempting some procedures from utilization review in the first 30 days after an accident.
