Macon Woman Accused of Cashing Comp Checks Intended for deceased Mother

A Macon, Georgia, woman has been charged with 23 felony counts after allegedly cashing workers’ compensation checks issued to her dead mother, according to local news reports. The Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation’s Enforcement Division announced the arrest of April Renee Reed, 29, after she was pulled over by a State Patrol officer on April 2, according to a report by WMAZ-TV.
