OAKLAND, Calif. – The Governing Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau on Wednesday voted unanimously to recommend a variable split point for experience modification factors starting in 2017.
Other changes recommended by the Governing Committee for 2016 would allow the experience rating threshold to be based on expected loss rates rather than pure premium rates and would increase the minimum and maximum payroll limitations for corporate officers, taxicabs and department stores.
