Committee Puts Hold on Formulary Bill to Measure potential Costs

The Assembly Appropriations Committee put on its suspense file a bill that would require the California Division of Workers' Compensation to create a prescription drug formulary. The move doesn't spell the end of Assembly Bill 1124, by Assemblyman Henry Perea, D-Fresno, it just means the bill won't be heard until later this month.  The suspense file is used to hold bills with a projected annual cost of $150,000 or more, according to the committee's website.
