Proposed decreases in the Medicare-based fees for hospital outpatient services would cost providers $7.5 million next year, the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation says.
Proposed changes to the ambulatory surgical center fees would increase reimbursements by $425,000, while fees for medical and professional services would cost providers about $311,000 for the next year, the BWC said.
A public hearing on all three rule changes will be held at 1 p.m. today in Room 1, Level 2, 30 W. Spring St., in Columbus.
