The Orange County District Attorney’s Office is hosting a symposium to discuss strategies to investigate and prosecute schemes to defraud California’s workers’ compensation system.
The Southern California Counties Workers’ Compensation Consortium Symposium on Feb. 27 will feature discussions about premium and provider fraud, rehabilitation center fraud, the intricacies of phony professional employer organizations, and strategies to fight fraudulent liens, according to a press release.
