Commissioner Makes Appointments to COIN Advisory Board

Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara on Friday announced several appointments to the board charged with helping safeguard the integrity of the insurance market. The commissioner appointed Gina Zapanta and Vanessa Delgado as the newest members of the California Organized Investment Network advisory board and reappointed Doug Bystry. Zapanta is co-founder of Z.A. Lawyers, a workers’ compensation firm representing injured workers.
