The New York Senate passed a bill aimed at giving injured workers more choices for filling prescriptions by allowing them to use pharmacies registered with the state.
The Senate voted 62-1 on Wednesday to pass SB 1026, by Sen. Jessica Ramos, D-Queens. The Senate voted 62-1 to pass the measure in May 2021, but it was never called for a hearing in the Assembly and was carried over to the current session.
