Bill Would Limit Exclusive Remedy for Minors

Minors injured while working illegally in Colorado would be allowed to sue their employers in tort while pursuing workers’ compensation benefits, under a bill the state House of Representatives recently passed. The Colorado House on Monday voted 44-18 to pass HB 1196, by Rep. Sheila Lieder, D-Jefferson.
