The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation adopted revisions to the form used to report injuries for non-covered workers.
“The adoption of this form is necessary to allow employers to file a report with DWC for each on-the-job injury that results in the employee’s absence from work for more than one day and for an occupational disease of which the employer has knowledge,” the division said in a statement.
The division said the updates to the form for nonsubscribing employers to report injuries adopts the agency’s new document standards.
