KEMI to Take Over Black Lung Fund July 1

The Kentucky Workers' Compensation Funding Commission issued a reminder to black-lung fund beneficiaries that payments will start coming from the Kentucky Employers' Mutual Insurance Authority on July 1.  Until July 1, payments will continue to come from the Department of Workers' Claims, which administers the Coal Workers' Pneumoconiosis Fund.  The change arises because of House Bill 377, which Gov.
