Joseph Berardo Named CEO at Concordia Care

Concordia Care Inc. has named Joseph Berardo Jr. as chief executive officer and announced an expansion of its management team. Concordia is a care-coordination company focused on behavioral health that provides “carve-outs” for catastrophic, complex and large loss cases. Berardo said workers’ comp payers are seeing an increase in the prevalence of mental health, substance abuse and psychosocial issues that pose a barrier to successful return to work and functional outcomes.
