Senate Panel Passes Bill that Would Reduce NFL Player Benefits

A committee of the Louisiana state Senate voted 4-3 on Thursday to approve a bill backed by the New Orleans Saints that would reduce workers' compensation benefits for players injured during the off-season, the Associated Press reported.
