Florida state senators will soon review a bill to aid first responders who have post-traumatic stress disorder, and a high-ranking state official hopes they approve it, the blog Florida Politics reports.
Senate Bill 376, which would classify PTSD as a compensable occupational disease, gained the Senate Appropriations Committee's unanimous approval on Tuesday.
It now heads back to the Senate floor, where it is scheduled to have its second reading today.
