Workers’ compensation claims examiners in Montana would require certification, under a bill introduced Monday.
House Bill 757, by Rep. Derek J. Harvey, D-Butte, would eliminate the voluntary certification program for claims examiners. The bill would mandate that claims examiners undergo an examination to become certified, and do so every two years to renew certification.
