A former insurance broker was ordered to serve three years of formal probation and perform 200 hours of community service after pleading no contest to felony insurance fraud and grand theft, the California Insurance Department announced.
Mia Chang, 51, who operated Lotte Insurance Services in Los Angeles, also repaid $19,218 in workers’ compensation premiums she stole from a construction company, the department said.
